Rite Foods Limited, a producer of carbonated soft drinks, sausages, and energy drinks, reaffirmed its commitment to corporate charity on New Year’s Day in Lagos by sponsoring actress Eniola Badmus‘ ‘Feeds the Needy’ campaign.
The ‘Feeds the Needy’ project has been operating since January 1, 2019, and the most recent edition saw over 50,000 starving people fed, thanks to Rite Foods’ assortment of refreshing beverages and snacks.
Boluwatife Adedugbe, Rite Foods Limited’s Assistant Brand Manager, Beverage and Bakery, said the move was in line with the company’s commitment to corporate philanthropy. “As a firm, we are poised to strengthen global solidarity by focusing on serving the needs of the poor and vulnerable in many areas across the country,” she said.
Badmus, for one, thanked the corporation for its support of the effort. “We have always made it a point to bring smiles to the faces of people in many areas across Lagos State and Nigeria in general,” she said. I’m grateful to the sponsors for assisting me in meeting my goal for four years in a row.”
