Yemi Alade, a Nigerian Afropop artist, has shared a message explaining why Angelique Kidjo’s “Mother Nature” album deserved to win Best Global Music Album at the 64th Grammy Awards.

Yemi Alade, who is a Grammy winner for her duet with Angelique, responded in response to Wizkid’s fans’ screams.
She reposted @PapiWater’s post, explaining that “Mother Nature” honored Africans’ originality as well as victims of the Nigerian #EndSARS protests and climate change.
