He discussed his relationship with his ex-girlfriend, what happened following their separation, and the adultery claims in an interview with the GHOneTV episode “Toast.”
The two started dating in 2012, and their relationship was widely publicised till it ended in 2015.
The Nigerian musician said that he wanted the world to know that he is still a wonderful guy and not the heartbreaker he has been portrayed as when asked what he wanted the public to know.
“I don’t like the fact that I’m always the bad guy…we should move past this,” he said. “After the tweet, you dropped so many years ago that I couldn’t have a relationship; now you’ve dropped another one, and now it’s a book.”
He claims that after the actress tweeted about their breakup in 2015, he lost 6,000 Ghanaian followers on Twitter and faced harsh online criticism for which he has still not fully recovered.

His remarks are in reference to Yvonne and her just-published tell-all. The actress published a memoir titled “I Am Not Yvonne Nelson” eight years after they publicly split up.
She explained the cause of their split in this memoir. She alleges Tonto Dikeh and Iyanya had an affair.
Iyanya declined to comment when asked if he had an affair with the Nigerian actress.
