Master P believes that the fact that Google mistakenly identified him as Luther Vandross is either the result of AI gone rogue or a larger plot to destroy his Snoop Cereal firm!
Okay, he’s joking about the second part, but the Colonel isn’t blind to a good advertising opportunity. Master P was interviewed by TMZ Hip Hop outside Walmart in Burbank, California, the future store of his and Snoop Dogg’s breakfast product. He claimed he could understand why Google would have mistaken him for the cereal’s mascot rather than Luther.

The No Limit rapper claims to get social media’s fascination with the Google blunder, but he suspects that the tech giant may be letting its AI bots run too much of the show behind the scenes—a suspicion shared by Questlove of The Roots.

Google finally made amends for its error, but P claims that it still needs to go farther, such as utilising its algorithm to highlight his brand. He points out that the renowned Google search engine did correctly identify his and Snoop’s Broadus Foods as the first Black-owned cereal firm.
The takeaway from P is that you can never have too much promotion, ever and forever.
