Brymo, a singer-songwriter, talked openly about his attempts to engage in sexual activity with female musicians in return for collaboration.
Artist Brymo has consistently drawn criticism for his outrageous behaviour, which has put him at odds with Dan, Dan’s colleagues, and even users of social media.

It all began when a supporter suggested that Brymo should have been on Adekunle Gold’s album. In response to the tweet, Brymo mentioned that Adekunle Gold had previously contacted him regarding a potential collaboration that never happened. Brymo said that he had tried to work with Simi on the condition that they became intimate in the same tweet. The intimacy was supposed to lead to intensity, according to Brymo’s tweet.

In a different tweet, Brymo added that while he regrets having demanded sex from Simi as a prerequisite for working together, he insisted that his demand was motivated by a desire to have musical experiences with a woman he was sleeping with. He claimed to have made Simi a similar offer as well.

Brymo said in a voice memo that he withdrew after seeing Simi and Adekunle Gold together in the tweet. He added that his goal was to have an experience rather than to demand sex.
Brymo’s revelation attracted massive criticism on Twitter with users pointing it out as a sign of the issue of men in the industry demanding sex from female artists in exchange for collaborations and favours.
