Government Media Office: 3,000 homes in Gaza were destroyed by the Israeli army

We brought you news last week about a media probe that revealed Israeli army leaders had been giving orders for their soldiers to demolish vacant Gaza homes.

The report was released after senior Israeli officials acknowledged that their nation aims to create a “buffer zone” around Gaza’s borders. They claim this is done to deter future attacks on Israel.

These assertions are restated in the Media Office statement. “The commanders of the ‘Israeli’ occupation army gave clear and direct instructions and orders, which are being followed by the burning operations.”
