On the night of September 19, at exactly 9:45 p.m., a confrontation reportedly took place between Victor Marcus, a known media director, and one Mr. Isaac Albert, popularly known as Solo Blanky, in Port Harcourt’s Old Township area.
According to Victor Marcus, Solo Blanky threatened to call boys to beat him up and vowed that he would never successfully organize any event at Aggrey Road as long as he (Solo Blanky) was alive. Marcus also alleged that Solo Blanky boasted about how he had previously “brought many men down” in Port Harcourt, claiming he should “go and ask questions.”
“I have two witnesses who were present during the confrontation,” Marcus said.
“Dear V6, may your soul continue to rest in peace ,” he added, in remembrance of a late associate.
Marcus Sends Message of Concern to Solo Blanky
Despite the threats, Victor Marcus chose to take a calm approach, expressing sympathy and concern for Solo Blanky’s mental health. He described the entertainer as someone going through depression who deserves love, care, and rehabilitation from those around him.
Marcus urged the public to encourage Solo Blanky to channel his energy toward positive actions, such as:
- Working to secure the release of his younger brother, who is allegedly being held at Ikot Ekpene Prison.
- Helping rehabilitate another sibling struggling with substance abuse.
- Caring for his family members who are currently facing health challenges.
- Taking responsibility for his two baby mamas and their daughters.
- He should also know that those rings and the other one he uses to put on his lips before talking to people has an expiry date and they’ll fail him soon.
“He Needs Help,” Says Marcus
Marcus also called on Solo Blanky to seek professional help, alleging that even minor alcohol intake leads to his misbehavior.
He further claimed that the Borikiri Police Department is currently seeking Solo Blanky for allegedly standing as a surety for individuals involved in criminal activities.
“I feel for him, and I wish he gets the necessary help to become a better person than the cunning and lying man he has become,” Marcus concluded.
